Chief Operating Officer
Jason has a proven track record of leading international teams in countries across Europe, Asia and North America, working for companies such as Sony, Virgin, HMV and Universal. He was part of the executive team at Ticketscript that brokered a multi-million dollar trade sale to San Francisco based ticketing company Eventbrite. He specialises in business transformation and strategy implementation in disruptive technology, ecommerce, business intelligence and data driven industries.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim was an Executive Board member and Group CFO for the publicly traded international payments group SafeCharge. He played a pivotal role in the group’s dramatic growth, significant corporate development and flotation. Tim has considerable board level experience with technology and ecommerce businesses. Prior to entering the ‘real’ world, he spent nearly 20 years in the ‘City’ where he led numerous IPOs, fundraising and M&A transactions, having initially qualifying as an accountant at Schroders.
Chief Legal Officer
Adam boasts extensive legal and senior management career in both public and commercial sectors. Before joining the Sappaya Group, he was COO of a global Manuka honey business operating across international retail and medical markets. His key areas of engagement include global business and corporate strategy and responsibility for regulatory compliance across several international jurisdictions.
Chief Innovation and Product Officer
Richard is an expert in payment innovation with more than 25 years’ experience in digital and financial services. He has designed, sold and delivered technology solutions to global banks and corporates. Having founded and sold two Fintech companies, he now works on the opportunities and challenges created by the convergence of technology and data in the payment space.
Chief Marketing Officer
Paul has an extensive background in branding and strategic communications working across a broad spectrum of industries. Within the payments vertical he has created and nurtured several successful brands, including PaySec and tappit. He has worked closely with and advised marketing departments for a range of global brands and boutique businesses.
Peter De Caluwe
Peter comes with over 20 years of experience in the retail payment and financial services sectors. As CEO of start-up Ogone he was instrumental in transforming the firm into a global internet payment leader that was sold to Ingenico in 2012 and is now known as Ingenico e-payments. He went on to become CEO - Payments at Naspers, a global leading ecommerce business where he played a crucial role in establishing PayU as the leader in payments for emerging markets.
